An unemployed banker pleaded guilty Monday to stabbing his girlfriend’s dog to death and is expected to serve a light jail sentence because he faces deportation.

Zheheng Feng, 25, who was in New York on a work visa, copped to animal cruelty in Manhattan Supreme Court and will get a month in jail when he’s sentenced March 26.

He is expected to get deported to China upon his release,NY Daily News reports.

Justice Laura Ward said she originally planned to offer eng three months in exchange for his plea to the pooch’s killing but his automatic deportation softened her stance.
