Piers Morgan has told how he was saved from cancer after an eagle-eyed viewer got in touch when she noticed something unusual about his appearance.
The Good Morning Britain host was contacted by a Melanoma expert when she spotted a small blemish on his chest.
Gillian Nuttall, founder of Melanoma UK, urged him to seek medical advice.
The 52 year-old dad-of-three said Gillian emailed him to say: “‘Piers, at the risk of sounding like a lunatic, I’m just watching your programme and there’s a blemish on your chest. Have you had it checked?”
Following Gillian’s warning, Piers visited a leading dermatologist, according to the Daily Star, who then cut out the blemish.
Piers was told the mark could have turned cancerous if it had been left unattended much longer.
